SERRVING OTHERS

     Do you like to do something which gives you enjoyment as well as satisfaction?  If so, consider joining the work group which will go to the New Windsor Service Center to inspect and price handcrafted items for SERRV.  The workday is from 8AM to 3:30PM.  Lunch is complimentary and there always is the opportunity to browse and buy at the SERRV shop.   Con-tact Kathy Helme at 410-327-7065 for more information or to "sign up."  The next trips, which are all on Fridays, will be May 14 and June 11.    

 

 

CAMPS AND RETREATS!

 STEP RIGHT UP! 

     Calling all strong-men, bearded ladies and clowns!   KALEIDOSCOPE! Arts Camp will be held June 21 - July 2, Monday—Friday, 9AM-3PM, at Christian Temple.  Registrations are being accepted through April 17 for youth entering grades 3-12.  

     The hope of this 2 week, non-sectarian camp is that through the arts people of all ages, denominations, races and socioeconomic levels will not only experience the transformative power of the arts but also the transformative power of learning to be more tolerant and accepting of the

diversity with in our own community. 

     The theme of this year's camp is the circus.  Through out camp participants will attend workshops in visual and performing arts centered around this theme.  On the evening of July 2 we will showcase all  that is accomplished during camp and hold our annual ART MART. 

     Volunteers and donations are needed to make camp a success.  Watch for  ticket sales and requests for donations for our annual ART MART, sign up sheets for snack donations as well as for refreshments and paper goods for the reception on July 2nd, and for a forthcoming supply list to help keep the cost of camp to a minimum.   If you would like to offer a scholarship

to camp for a worthy participant contact Pat LaFon at 410-747-3465.
